Opelika's Trendy New Wine Bar

Auburn/Opelika wine lovers, rejoice! There’s a trendy new wine bar in town. Ampersand Wine Bar is newly remodeled in downtown Opelika, featuring an art deco style with plenty of space for customers to lounge on jewel-toned couches and chairs while sipping a glass of wine.

The Ampersand has already collected some regulars, who are incredibly friendly and welcoming to newcomers (like myself). The man behind the wine bar knows what you’d like to drink even if you don’t! He’s like the wine guru everyone ever wanted, but never had. I loved having him explain the wines while I was trying to choose my flavor of the evening. The bar plays music off of an old record player, and customers are welcome to bring in their own record albums!

It was the perfect place for a glass of congratulatory wine after a long week of work. Ampersand is one of those places where you can sit and stay a while. If you’re looking for a new favorite place to sip on some vino, Ampersand is the place to visit! Cheers, all!
