Lucy's :: Where to Brunch in Auburn, Alabama

Sunshine and Sunday brunch (or Saturday. Or Friday). What more could you ask for? With Auburn’s newest “cool kid” on the block, now I have more than one reason to say, “I LOVE LUCYS!” (Super original - I know - this stuff just writes itself).

Lucy’s opened shortly after I moved to Auburn, so I feel this (ridiculous) connection to the restaurant. Like we both shared the Auburn newbie factor and a love for craft cocktails. (Hindsight 20/20 : that’s probably how I started making most of my friends in this cute little town). Lucy’s really plays up the natural lighting factor, ushering in the sunlight with a number of large windows (sometimes they’ll open them when it’s not blazes hot outside)! So, it makes sense that one of their signature colors is YELLOW!

The standout items for me on their brunch menu are the lemon ricotta hotcakes (I’m usually not a pancake person, but these are DELICIOUS), huevos racheras, and the avocado tartine. Well. Really, you can’t go wrong with whatever you order. Especially with their cocktails!

Lucy’s has done their part to truly integrate with Auburn community. Not only do they serve a delicious brunch (reservations needed for parties of 6 or more - I would highly recommend making them - ESPECIALLY on gameday weekends #SECFOOTBALL), but they often hold pop-up events, partnering with local business and organizations. I think this aspect of Lucy’s is unique - they truly want everyone to gather together (and eat).

Lucy’s tagline: “GOOD VIBES ONLY” holds true for all of my eating experiences!
