A Mother's Day Gift Guide - Things She’ll Actually Like

As a new mom, I have LOTS of opinions on what to gift a mama for Mother’s Day. At the top of my list? A massage and a day all to myself. Followed by lots of cuddles from a very smiley baby who doesn’t fuss one bit. Does that sound realistic? Ha, if you’re wondering what the mamas in your life would love and appreciate, I’ve curated a list of thoughtful gifts and experiences that are sure to make her day extra special. Whether she's into luxurious bathrobes, the latest in lip gloss, or diving into a new book, I've got you covered.

Weezie Long Lightweight Robe. I was never a robe person until becoming a mom and now I LOVE wearing a robe around the house. This scallop detail is darling AND it’s lightweight. We’re already starting to scorch here in Alabama, so staying cool is not a want but a need.

Florals. You will never go wrong with sending a mama some sweet flowers! And this gorgeous monogrammed vase would be a sweet spot to place those pretty blooms, too!

Tarte Maracuja Lip Duo Pack. I LOVE this lip gloss. Traditionally, I hardly ever wear lip color (just because I forget), but I love this stuff. It makes your lips tingle but isn’t sticky.

Mongrammed Raffia Visor. Because summer is on her way, and we need something fab to wear at the beach + pool!

Brumate 40oz Water Bottle. The lack of spillage is what does it for me. Wrangling a child out of the car while trying to grab all of your things means you need these little protections. I almost dumped a half-full Stanley on Addy getting her out of the car, once.

Anti-Granny Hand Cream. This stuff smells AMAZING and offers a solid chuckle.

Solitary Diamond Necklace. I wear my diamond necklace all the time. I literally never take it off. This would be a sweet, sparkly gift!

Emily Henry’s Latest Novel: A Funny Story. Emily Henry’s books are some of my all time favorites! Usually a little bit of travel, a little bit of romance, and a strong female lead.

BONUS: Experiential Gift Ideas

  • An overnight stay at a local hotel. Put mama up for an evening! Let her rest and relax.

  • A surprise picnic. Plan a surprise picnic wth her favorite foods and drinks in a scenic location. Don’t forget a cozy blanket to sit on and toys for your little nugget!

  • A homemade card. A heartfelt and homemade card always seems to melt me. It’s simple. It won’t break the bank. But it goes a long way.

And give your mama a GREAT BIG HUG!! Sweet love is all she wants.
