Pumpkin Spiced White Russian

Pumpkin spice but make it adult friendly. We should enjoy the art of Trick or Treating too, right?! George and I recently tried out a new cocktail recipe … pumpkin spiced white russians. This decadent cocktail will hit the spot if you’re craving something sweet, but also trying to resist the Halloween candy temptation. It could also be a hit with family + friends during Thanksgiving!

Most white russian cocktails are pretty heavy on the cream. I love a lot of cream, but a lot of cream doesn’t really love me. We tweaked this recipe (original inspo goes to The Cookie Rookie) to be a bit lighter and more heavy on the cinnamon flavor.

DRINK INGREDIENTS:

2 shot glasses of vodka

1 shot glass of coffee liquor (we use Kahlua)

1 shot RumChata

1 Shot Califia Farms Almond Milk Pumpkin Spice Creamer (found at your local grocery)

Ice

FESTIVE SUGAR RIM:

Spoonful of sugar

Dash of pumpkin spice

Two dashes of cinnamon

(Cookie Rookie adds graham cracker crumbs, which is genius)

WHIP IT GOOD:

Wet the rim of your cocktail glass with water. Dip into your sugar & spice mixture to coat. Fill with ice.

Combine vodka, coffee liquor, Rum Chata, creamer and ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake it like a Polaroid picture.

Pour mixture over your prepared cocktail glass.

Cheers!
